Upcoming Big Event in CarlsbadI am pleased to announce that Kazi's sister sculpture is on public display in Carlsbad. On Wednesday February first we installed Kazi in front of the Carlsbad Animal Hospital at 2739 State St. He is firmly anchored to the ground peaking out behind some palm fronds, watching the pedestrians stroll by. Kazi acts as an ambassador for a fabulous project of the Carlsbad Village Business Mainstreet Association, a nonprofit organization that The Sculpture is an Artist Proof in the limited edition of only twenty and is available for sale or sponsorship. Permanent Public Display of Kazi in Escondido Animal ParkWe delivered Kazi on September 23rd. On Friday, October 21st 2005, Kazi was placed on a 2' pedestal at the giraffe feeding area. We went on Saturday to visit him on his second day on the "Job". It was great! Families were sitting around him and had their pictures taken, kids were crawling all over him like ants and we had to actually wait our turn to get some photos with Kazi. My vision came to reality! |
